Gulf Evergreen Foodstuff Trading LLC, part of the Evergreen Group, proudly commemorates 46 years of excellence in the UAE and GCC region. Our journey began in 1978, when our founder, Mr. Amratlal Thanki, transformed a dream into a thriving enterprise built on vision, integrity, and perseverance.
Mr. Thanki arrived in the UAE in 1975 aboard a passenger ship, beginning his career humbly as a waiter in a restaurant. Driven by ambition and resilience, he went on to establish multiple restaurants across the UAE. This entrepreneurial spirit eventually led to the birth of Gulf Evergreen Foodstuff Trading LLC and Evergreen Restaurant, laying the foundation for a company rooted in service, excellence, and cultural authenticity.
Today, Gulf Evergreen Foodstuff Trading LLC proudly stands as the sole authorized importer and distributor of Balaji Wafers in the UAE, representing one of India’s largest and most beloved snack brands. Our exclusive focus on 100% vegetarian products reflects our commitment to quality, tradition, and dietary values.
With a growing presence across 2,500+ retail outlets and over 50 major retail chains in the UAE and GCC, we have become a trusted name in the food distribution industry. Our continued success is driven by consistent product quality, reliable service, and long-standing relationships with partners and customers alike.
Currently Gulf Evergreen is managed by Mr. Chetan Thanki & Mr. Ajay Thanki who are the sons of Mr. Amritlal Thanki.
